We are an anarchist book collective based in Melbourne, Australia and offer a full mail order service. We have been meeting and working together since 1992.
We take our collective name from the novel The Dispossessed by Ursula K. Le Guin. Anarres is the name of a planet which is organised as an anarchist society.

We stock many Freedom Press publications and a smaller number of titles published by AK Press, New Society Publishers and (fiction) titles from the now defunct III Publishing (1989-1999).

Hi Simsy, yes we are still doing mail orders. The site has been up and down quite a bit in the last few months. We hope to update it again shortly.
